The civic culture conveyed by moral and civic education articulates four domains: sensitivity, rules and law, judgment and commitment. Moral and civic education lends itself particularly well to work that places students in a situation of cooperation and sharing, encouraging the exchange of arguments and the confrontation of ideas. Modern democracy promotes and develops education but at the same time makes it fragile and difficult. The contemporary processes of post or hypermodernity call into question the very possibility of the formation of the citizen.
